“...Yacht Club Cove is a lakeside townhouse community in Canandaigua, NY. The community has a harbor with approximately 100 boat slips. They undertook a project to totally replace their dock system that was aging...The community then needed a company to remove their existing docks and install the new dock system. CMi Structural Solutions provided this critical service. This was fairly new ground for CMi and they jumped into the project and provided a fair and reasonable bid. There were several limitations to this work. There is very little space in the community to store materials, so removal of the old docks and then installation of the new dock system had to be well coordinated with the manufacturer and the community. There was also a strict time constraint as well since the new system had to be installed and ready for use by spring of 2025. This entailed a lot of work, and it was during the cold weather months in the northeast. The CMi team rose to the occasion and completed the old dock removal/disposal and installed the new dock system without any issues or change orders. Their team worked tirelessly and very efficiently to get the job done within their original budget and they met the very tight schedule constraints. The team was very cognizant of the resident’s concerns, and they made every effort to minimize disruption to the resident’s daily lives.
